EOIs open for Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) Project Group
ANZCA invites expressions of interest from fellows to join the CBME Project Group and contribute their expertise to advancing contemporary medical education and supporting the successful implementation of CBME initiatives within the anaesthesia training program.
Overview
The project group will provide strategic and practical advice on:
- The implementation, continuous improvement, long-term sustainability, governance and quality assurance of CBME initiatives.
- Change management and communication strategies, including the development of educational and training resources for trainees and supervisors.
- Monitoring, evaluation and quality improvement frameworks.
- Advice to governance committees on curriculum, regulatory and governance matters.
Who we're looking for
We are seeking fellows who:
- Demonstrate expertise or a strong interest in CBME, with experience in teaching, supervision, assessment and/or educational leadership.
- Hold FANZCA and/or FFPMANZCA.
The project group is particularly seeking expressions of interest from fellows representing one or more of the following:
- Education Development and Evaluation Committee representative.
- Education officer.
- Supervisor of training or rotational supervisor.
- ANZCA Assessment and Governance Committee representative.
- SIMG Committee representative.
- Curriculum Review Sub-committee representative.
- ANZCA Educators Sub-committee representative.
- FPM Training and Assessment Executive Committee representative.
