The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists launches partnership with the Online Pain Education Network (OPEN).

ANZCA is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Online Pain Education Network (OPEN), a national, evidence-based online program strengthening pain management capability across the health workforce.

Developed by the University of Sydney and Curtin University, OPEN delivers flexible, CPD-accredited training aligned with contemporary models of care and the Australian Standards for Health Practitioner Pain Management Education.

OPEN introduces a more contemporary, evidence-informed approach. It is available to specialists, general practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, and early career clinicians.

Dr Roger Goucke AM FFPMANZCA, one of the experts behind the OPEN pain training program, said, “I would strongly encourage fellows to explore the OPEN Clinical Pain Training Program, not only for your own practice, but as a resource to support your multidisciplinary teams.”
