ANZCA is looking to appoint an anaesthetist as a new member on the Australian and New Zealand Tripartite Anaesthetic Data Committee following a recent retirement.
The committee advises on webAIRS – the web-based anaesthetic incident reporting system.
Can you assist the teams analysing over 13,000 incidents reported to webAIRS?
We are looking for someone with knowledge or skills in information technology, AI (including LLMs), and or using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyse datasets.
By participating in webAIRS, anaesthetists can report, evaluate, and receive information regarding anaesthetic incidents, to discuss at local M & M meetings and to contribute on a national level to the anaesthesia database. This process helps to identify and address safety concerns, ultimately leading to better patient care and outcomes.
Please submit your interest by 31 March to [email protected]. If you would like to discuss the role, please contact Medical Director Dr Yasmin Endlich [email protected].
