Australasian Anaesthesia, commonly referred to as the Blue Book, comes out in print every two years, and is one of the great benefits of being an ANZCA member.

Submitting to the Blue Book

Are you interested in being published in the Blue Book? We’re currently seeking expressions of interest for contributions to the next edition. We digitally publish chapters twice a year, with these chapters then being compiled into the print version which comes out every two years. Our next deadlines for receiving first drafts are:

•            31 January 2026. 

•            31 July 2026. 

•            31 January 2027.

•            31 July 2027. 

Chapters submitted during these intakes will be published as part of Australasian Anaesthesia 2027. EOIs can be submitted at any time.
