Established in August 2025, the International Education Network held its inaugural meeting in April 2026. The network provides a platform for fellows and trainees based outside Australia and New Zealand to share insights, access support, raise issues, and contribute to the development of education and training resources.

Short-term observational placements and exchange opportunities
The FPM International Education Network aims to strengthen connections between Australian and New Zealand fellows and international trainees through short-term observational placements and exchange opportunities.
These experiences provide valuable opportunities to broaden clinical exposure, gain insights into different models of pain care, strengthen international networks and support professional development.
If you are interested in hosting an international trainee, undertaking an observational placement, or exploring exchange opportunities, please contact us.
