Staff Specialist - Anaesthetics

Metro North Health is seeking a Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics to provide high-quality anaesthetic care in accordance with ANZCA guidelines and accepted clinical practice within a large, multidisciplinary health service. This permanent full-time or part-time role involves delivering perioperative anaesthesia services, providing clinical support to the Acute Pain Service and Pre-admission Clinic, and participating in after-hours and on-call rosters. The position also requires close collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams to ensure safe, patient-centred care. In addition, the Staff Specialist will contribute to clinical leadership, teaching, quality improvement and service development activities as directed by the Director of Anaesthetics, supporting Metro North Health’s commitment to excellence in care, education and innovation.
