Tasmanian Anaesthetic Training Program

The TATP is a collaboration between the Tasmanian Health Service (THS), the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), and Tasmania’s ANZCA-accredited training hospitals: the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital and North West Regional Hospital.

The TATP coordinates anaesthesia training at all 3 Tasmanian Health Service (THS) hospitals. It has approximately 40 positions each year, including up to 8 provisional fellowship or senior registrar positions, with a variable number of vacancies. All ANZCA trainees in Tasmania are included in the TATP.
