2026-2028 ANZCA regional committees update

ANZCA regional committees support the ANZCA Council and oversee training, supervision and continuing medical education in their respective jurisdictions. Regional committee elections are held every two years. 

Regions where the number of nominations received exceeded the available vacancies on the committee will proceed to an election from Monday 16 March to Friday 17 April.  These regions are:

• NSW
• Victoria

Fellows in these regions will be sent an email inviting them to vote for candidates in their region.

For ACT, Queensland, SA/NT, Tasmania and WA the nominations received did not exceed the vacancies on the committees and as such an election is not required. 

The successful candidates will be announced via college communications and the official announcement will be made during the ANZCA New Council Meeting held in May 2026.
