You are invited to share your experiences to help shape future planning, training initiatives, and workplace interventions across the Australian healthcare system.
A Better Culture – invitation to share your experiences
ANZCA, along with a number of other medical colleges participates in the “A Better Culture” initiative, a project funded by the Commonwealth which aims to cultivate systemic and sustained behavioural change across the Australian healthcare sector. We recently had ANZCA fellow representation on a number of reference groups, with outcome reports now publicly available here.
The overarching aim of this project is to:
- Identify practices and gaps in existing methods of measuring workplace culture in the Australian healthcare sector.
- Propose a minimum data set that represents best practice as a standardised approach that ensures data comparability and reliability across organisations.
- Propose a framework that might facilitate the aggregation and dissemination of industry-wide data, providing actionable insights to improve workplace culture, reduce bullying and harassment, and foster a healthier working environment.
The project team now invites those who work in healthcare organisations to participate in quantitative testing of the Culture in Healthcare Assessment Tool (CHAT) by completing an online questionnaire. We acknowledge this is an important initiative in the support of improving the culture of healthcare. Whilst this survey has not been developed by ANZCA, we acknowledge it’s relevance in support of the work of the “A Better Culture” initiative.
By taking part in this questionnaire, you’ll help us better understand what’s working, what’s not, and what changes are needed to create safer, more supportive, and high-performing healthcare environments. This survey goes beyond surface-level feedback; it’s about driving real, meaningful change in the sector.
Your input will help shape future planning, training initiatives, and workplace interventions across the Australian healthcare system.
Please access the survey here.
