ANZCA's 10,000th fellow

Dr Mena Vasu Dewan was the recipient of the milestone diploma. She was admitted through the specialist international medical specialist (SIMG) program and attended the 2019 ANZCA ASM in Kuala Lumpur when a trainee of the College of Anaesthesiologists (Academy of Medicine of Malaysia) program. Later that year she got fellowship and went on to work in Borneo through the pandemic, before deciding she wanted to become a FANZCA. She’s now working for Austin Health and is particularly passionate about obstetrics. 

ANZCA President Dr Tanya Selak and ANZCA CEO Lance Emerson had the chance to meet with Dr Dewan to personally present the diploma and celebrate the milestone.
