Dr Mulligan practises anaesthesia in public and private hospitals in Sydney and has worked as a visiting medical officer in the UK, rural NSW and the ACT. She has extensive leadership and management experience in both surgery and anaesthesia at a hospital, district and state-wide level. Dr Mulligan is currently a sitting member for NSW Medical Council matters, board member of Northern Sydney Local Health District and the NSW Clinical Excellence Commission and is a member of the NSW Health System Advisory Council.
